Vivace® Direct- November 29th

A Simple Technique for Remembering Vivace® Microneedle RF Aftercare: Think 24, 48, 72

Up to 24 hours post treatment – Avoid touching the face, applying sunscreen and regular skincare products.

Encourage your patients to use the Boost Serum and a Gentle Cleanser to keep the face clean, hydrated, and plump. Another way to ensure the face stays clean is to change out pillowcases and wipe down glasses/cellphones with alcohol prep pads. The channels we create with Vivace® Microneedle RF are open for approx. four (4) to six (6) hours post treatment. It’s important that we do not clog these channels with foreign products and do our best to keep the skin clean.

Up to 48 hours post treatment – Avoid sweating, hot tubs, saunas or exercising.

Use a gentle skincare routine since the body is still healing. It’s important that we let the body repair itself. Also, we want to keep the site clean and free from sweat to avoid infections.

Up to 72 hours post treatment – Avoid sun exposure and makeup.

Patients should have little to no sun exposure without sunscreen or other forms of skin protection. The skin will be particularly sensitive after Vivace® RF Microneedling due to UV radiation. It is necessary to follow all Vivace® Microneedle RF guidelines to avoid hyperpigmentation and scarring. After 24 hours, patients can use sunblock or moisturizer with sunblock (30 SPF or higher).
